In the work of Menchu Uroz, nature and the female figure merge with reality and dreams, as well as painting, inks, charcoal or collage that allow me to play in the pictorial space, creating imaginary iconographies. In these serene compositions, she tells stories that emerge from her sketchbooks, from everything that inspires her and from the evolution of her own work. Graduated in Fine Arts from the Faculty of San Jordi in Barcelona, her training includes the course taught by Antonio López, Cátedra Francisco de Goya, Ávila. She has received several awards including First Prize "El Flechazo 2022". Publication of two articles in the magazines SPEND IN and RC MAGAZINE. She has had several solo exhibitions in art galleries such as Espacio 36 (Zamora), NB7(Madrid), L'Arcada (Blanes), Sara Caso (Madrid), Gaudí (Madrid), Sala Murillo (Oviedo), Real Casino de Murcia, VTA3 (Marbella). His professional career has also been marked by his participation in important group exhibitions and Art Fairs among which stand out: FLECHA Madrid, Palma, Barcelona and Bilbao; Art Madrid; Ducal Palace of Medinaceli with the acquisition of a work; Ordem dos Medicos de Oporto; Montsequi Art Gallery; Espai Cavallers Gallery; AAF Hamburg; ST-ART Strasbourg; New Art Fair Paris; Luxembourg Art Fair; Vierheim Germany; Öland Island Sweden; Aguirre Newman Foundation; Rodart Valencia; Arcale Valladolid, Dearte Madrid and Casa Decor.
