Héctor Francesch
about Héctor Francesch
A Coruña, 1977
For the work of Héctor Francesch, any object or support becomes a valid vehicle to show us his vision of the present. Thus, his imagination is configured through multiple supports and techniques ranging from his personal "expanded designs" through drawing, engraving, collage, painting or installation. A multidisciplinary artist, with a great interest in research, he has shown his work in numerous institutions and art galleries nationally and internationally. His great interest in design has led him to collaborate with various institutions and companies, including the Sargadelos Shapes Laboratory. Professor of screen printing at the CIEC in Betanzos, his works are part of prominent collections such as Afundación, A Coruña City Council, A Coruña Provincial Council, Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid, Madrid City Council, Estrella Galicia or Arte XXI Foundation of Madrid. He has participated in contemporary art fairs such as Art Madrid, Justmad, Swab Barcelona, or Artelisboa, and has been a finalist in the 2000 Mercedes Benz Award, second prize in the XXI Concello de Cambre Painting Contest, and an acquisition prize in the IX Arts Contest.
