Madrid, 1965
Ana was born in Madrid in 1965. She graduated in Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid with two specialities, painting and restoration. Ana Alcaraz's works can be found in various collections, both private and institutional, among them: the School of Naval Engineers, the Nautical Club of Denia and in Mac, Florencio de la Fuente in Cuenca. She has been selected on several occasions for the Reina Sofía painting prize, and in 2018, she received the Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida Painting Medal. Prize-winning work at the 85th Salón de Otoño. Recently works with a gallery based in Gent, Belgium. She is an artist with galleries such as Flecha and GaleriaBat. In the last years, she has participated in several national and international fairs: Art Madrid, Just Madrid, Just Lisboa, Art Fair in Montpellier, etc.
