Art Madrid'24 – Juan Lloret – Diva en Rojo (2023)
about Juan Lloret
Murcia, 1980
Juan Lloret, plastic artist, was born in Águilas (Murcia) in 1980. Although his academic training was in the world of finance, he always knew what he wanted to dedicate himself to, which was art and the development, through painting, of a whole creative world that lived in him. He trained as a pupil in the workshops of Manuel Coronado (an internationally renowned painter from Aguileña) and later became his disciple, working as an assistant in the work of the aforementioned painter. Years later and up to the present, he works and shares space with the artist Jose Chaya, (Argentinean artist of international recognition) in the city of Valencia. The human figure is a recurrent theme in Juan Lloret's work and colour is a fundamental part of it, since, as the author himself points out, "A body without colour is a dead body. Colour gives the body movement and energy". In his marine paintings, we can clearly recognise the influences of his roots, where colour, once again, occupies the main space, endowing his work with a very personal light. Today, Juan Lloret has more than 16 thousand followers on INSTAGRAM, his work is present in private collections around the world.
