Ana Pérez Ventura (Santiago de Compostela, 1981) is a visual artist whose practice is deeply rooted in her training as a classical pianist. Pérez Ventura's work focuses on process and consists of translating the temporal nature of music into different visual media, mainly painting. Through rhythmic repetition, like a human metronome, he creates an organic record of the passage of time. Pérez Ventura transforms the ephemeral into the tangible, giving form and substance to the elusive nature of time.
