Paula Blanco was born in Oviedo in 1996, where she currently works as a painter and illustrator. Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca, specializing in painting. Paula spent a year at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna where was twice awarded with honorable mention in the San Marcos Awards of that faculty.She has participated in numerous group exhibitions and the Covid has not been an impediment for her, since she has not only been able to exhibit online in galleries in London or St. Petersburg, but also in 2020 she opens "Trasudores", her first solo exhibition at Espacio Brecha gallery, year in which she also publishes her first book as a cartoonist, "Qué vergüenza haber nacido" (What a shame to have been born) published by Penguin Random House. Artistic residency at the Jumeraih Creekside Hotel, Dubai, October 2021 to January 2022. In 2023, Paula participated in the group exhibition "UMAMI" in Arancha Osoro gallery and also articipates in ENTREARTE III at the Revillagigedo Palace, Gijón.
