Art Madrid'25 – Roice 183

Roice 183

Elche, 1983

Roice 183, born on November 25, 1983, in the Mediterranean city of Elche, has over two decades of experience in graffiti. He began painting at the age of 11, inspired by the hip-hop movement of the 1990s, which was then flourishing in schools and parks across the Iberian Peninsula. His intense early activity painting in the streets and the quality of his pieces have established him as a key figure in the current graffiti scene.

Beyond his street art, which remains an ever-present pursuit, he has opened a new avenue of expression that leads him to explore new artistic languages. This includes drawings, collages, and paintings characterized by abstract forms, within which more defined figures seem to emerge, creating an internal dialogue. It could almost be said that his paintings contain multiple stories coexisting simultaneously, each of which could be considered a small work of art within the whole.
