Gemma Alpuente (Algemesí, 1993) Her academic background includes several university degrees: a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, a Bachelor’s in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, both from the Faculty of San Carlos (UPV), and a Master’s in Education with a specialization in “Art” from the Faculty of Education (UV).
Her passion lies in artistic and plastic research, driving her to work in a multidisciplinary way, exploring and utilizing various materials, formats, and techniques to develop her own working methodology.
For years, she has been active in the international art circuit. Her works are part of collections across Spain, Europe, and Asia. She has collaborated with prestigious galleries such as Galería Shiras and is currently represented by Galería Cuatro, SGA, Canal Gallery, Untitled Gallery, and Saisho both nationally and internationally.
In 2023, her work gained prominence with several national awards, most notably the Alhambra Prize at Abierto Valencia. Her retrospective piece, Squeeze, was particularly acclaimed by the public.
