Art Madrid'24 – Enrique González
Enrique González
Madrid,
From an early age, he began exploring the world of art in a self-taught manner, complementing his learning with various art courses. During his adolescence, through one of his painting teachers, he was introduced to the world of printmaking, which became one of the mediums he chose to develop his work for an extended period. These were years of exploration and profound experimentation, during which his work traversed multiple artistic movements: abstraction, expressionism, cubism, figuration, minimalism, arte povera, social realism, geometric art, pop art, and more. Exploring every field of art became a vital necessity.
The fundamental essence of his work can be summarized as a constant reflection on the simple yet complex act of living. Over the course of his career, he has exhibited individually and collectively on numerous occasions both within and beyond his home country. He also participates regularly in international art fairs and serves as a jury member for prestigious art awards.
He founded Grabado y Edición, the first and only publication in Spain dedicated to the promotion of printmaking and art editions, of which he is currently the editorial director.
