Renowned for his meticulous approach, Chou often spends extended periods at his chosen locations. His large-scale projects have earned numerous awards and international recognition, with exhibitions in Berlin, Florence, Sydney, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and more. Museums and institutions worldwide collect his work. Chou's limited-edition photography albums have won prestigious awards such as the iF Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, and Golden Butterfly Award, reflecting his exceptional standards and acclaim. Over nearly three decades, Chou's focus has evolved from journalistic events to theatrical, fabricated photography. In his latest project, Animal Farm, he shifted from photographer-as-hunter to director, creating unsettling, surreal scenes that captivate audiences.
