ARON KROES was born in 1987 in ZAANDAM, Holland. Inspired by nature, people and memories, Aron describes his art as intuitive, emotional and figurative abstract. The abstraction takes the viewer into a world that balances expressive shapes and a rich color palette. While the artworks translate Aron's feelings and moods, they act as a mirror for the beholder. Chaotic with unexpected beauty. Also light, and mainly the reflection of it, plays a big part in the the paintings. With the use of metallic and chrome colours Aron is searching for a confrontation with light and reflection. These distinctive colours, often synthetic spray paint, have a clear influence from the graffiti and streetart scene. This legacy from the past is embraced by Aron with love, enthusiasm and pride and applied within his current work.
