about the artist's works
Ely Sánchez starts professionally in the field of image through graphic design. Also trained in architecture and advertising studies as an art director, and then in Spain as creative director, the artist seeks through the image to propose a game; sometimes formal or conceptual, in which more than one interpretation is possible. The photographer looks for the way to make images where to escape, micro-stories in any power to live the moments. Use the photographic reality to sublimate the reality itself. Likewise, through projects such as “Uterino”, “Cities of Light” or “Wounded,” Sánchez's eclecticism leaves us our retina impregnated with moments captured perfectly.
