The gallery Paulo Nunes - Arte Contemporânea is located in the historic centre of the city of Vila Franca de Xira, in a building of modern line, surrounded by emblematic institutions of the city such as the Artistic Athenaeum, the Mother Church, the current headquarters of the Junta (VFX) or the Child Welfare Center (CBEI) of Vila Franca de Xira.

Founded in December 2010, its primary objective is the dissemination of consolidated and emerging artists, national and international, in the field of painting, sculpture, photography, video and installation, both in exhibitions held in the Gallery and in national and international fairs. The gallery offers advise services when creating an art collection while understanding and guiding the taste of each collector for artists of the most varied disciplines.

The project also covers public and private consulting and maintains a continuous connection with the leading national Fine Arts schools. In addition, it intends to promote its artists through alliances with other national and international galleries, seeking the exchange between the creators and their works. It has participated in several art fairs in Portugal and abroad, and maintains a regular program of art exhibitions both in the Gallery and in public spaces.
