Art Madrid'24 – Federico Granell
Federico Granell
Asturias, 1974
He is very interested in narrative, cinematography, what the passage of time has left us, the events of life and the patina of history. He seeks the poetics of beauty in the everyday environment, evoking emotional situations that inspire moments of calm and peace. His works invite us to enjoy evocative encapsulated moments that, as a whole, make up an idealized portrait of today's world, built from the gaze of an artist whose concerns go beyond those of the representation itself. Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca, specializing in Design and Audiovisuals. Scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Accademia di Belle Arti, Via Ripetta. Rome. Extension of studies in London with the Socrates Scholarship. Course at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti. Milan. His work is present in the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias, DKV Collection. Masaveu Collection, Cajastur, El Corte Inglés, Diputación de Cáceres, Colegio de Abogados de Oviedo, Casa Consuelo, Otur. Reny Picot, Alvargonzález Foundation, Cudillero City Council, Asturias, as well as in renowned private collections in Spain, France, Italy, Great Britain, Germany, Belgium, Latvia, Santo Domingo, Mexico, South Africa and Hong Kong.
