Art Madrid'24 – César Goce

César Goce

Valencia, 1994

César Goce was born in Valencia, Spain, in 1994. Originating from the graffiti world, he specialized in painting and contemporary muralism after studying at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Valencia.

After years of painting in urban spaces, César took his first steps into the gallery scene with the exhibitions ‘Valencia en Papel II’ (group show, 2018) and ‘Doble Dirección’ (duo show, 2019) at Plastic Murs gallery. His trip to Japan in 2019 marked a turning point in his career, as he experienced the contrasts between traditional Japanese philosophy in the country's outskirts and the radical futurism of Tokyo. Over time, these influences have emerged in his work through a disruptive style that blends classical techniques with technological resources.

He has been selected for numerous art residencies and festivals, including Konvent, Muro Crítico, B Murals, BetArt, and MiauFanzara in Spain, and the NuMu festival in Ecuador internationally.

In recent years, César has expanded his studio practice internationally, working with galleries in the United States (Open Gallery, FlavioDolce Gallery), Paris, France (Goldshteyn Saatort), Italy (Davide Rosillo Gallery), and Latin America (La Fabrica Studio, Tour). This year, he is solidifying his presence in Spain with Canal Gallery, where he is holding his first solo exhibition.
