Rivola, an artist and photographer born in Rome in 1962, lives and works in Bologna.

In 1984, he began exhibiting in the field of contemporary art, using photography as his medium. He uses the walls of galleries and exhibition spaces as a canvas for his photographic works, creating authentic large-scale "photographic frescoes."
