20 GRADOS. INTERVENTION BY OLGA MESA. CUADERNO DE NOTAS FÍLMICAS: PRÁCTICAS (NO) VISIBLES DEL CUERPOPERADOR
jueves, 6 mar. 15:00
Agenda
INTERVENTION CYCLE: 20 GRADOS
As part of the Parallel Program, the Tectónica Space will host the Intervention Cycle: 20 Grados. The research by the artists and curators presented in this section focuses on the dialogue between art and urban spaces, using different artistic practices to question the social structure of the cities we inhabit and the way we interact with their architectures and territories. Through these actions, bridges will be built between disciplines and diverse perspectives, expanding the understanding of how art is nourished by the urban fabric and how public space serves as a natural environment for artistic creation. The 20 Grados Intervention Cycle presents the work of 10 key artists in the contemporary art sector in an open, relaxed, and dynamic space.

INTERVENTION BY OLGA MESA. CUADERNO DE NOTAS FÍLMICAS: PRÁCTICAS (NO) VISIBLES DEL CUERPOPERADOR
When: Thursday, March 6th. 16:00h
Where: Tectónica Space. (Stand D3). Art Madrid Fair. Galería de Cristal of the Palacio de Cibeles. C/ Montalbán, 1.
In Cuaderno de notas fílmicas: Prácticas (no) visibles del cuerpOperador, the artist invents a practice to learn to breathe while writing: thinking and speaking at the same time. She insists on this spontaneous and sonic act of writing aloud what she is thinking. Later, she may press "REC" and move with a camera in hand, seeking a new long take. She will think big to make small things. She will feel the distance between her hand and her heart (that dark object of desire).
The operator body will always be a necessary body, just like the voice. The journey of eternal return and the return to the origin will be present. Dreams, war, and childhood will be part of her work, as will her dance of hands. She will once again find herself observing a miniature war, but this time she will not be lying in a corner. In the end, this "Own Table" under construction will create a constellation of dreams and presences that will transport the viewers toward a horizon of resistance(s) on a human and intimate scale. The artist wishes to write this encounter in "present body." This is how it will begin: without image, with a "black-out," and in silence.
